Wareham, MA : Two injured after their car rolled over the guard rail on Route 25 Sunday afternoon, December 18, 2016

Two people were sent to two different hospitals after their car rolled over the guard rail on Route 25 westbound at 12:30 p.m., officials said.

One person was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and one was transported to Tobey Hospital, said Captain Michael Bird of the Wareham Fire Department. Marion provided an ambulance, he said.

Bird did not have information about the names, ages or hometowns of those involved in the crash or the status of their injuries. The crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police, he said.

There was a slight leak in the fuel tank that was mitigated on the scene, Bird said.

Massachusetts State Trooper Dustin Fitch said a woman was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and had non-life threatening injuries. He also said the accident occurred a half mile east of Route 495 on Route 25.
