Toledo, OH : Three teens and a 7-year-old child were injured in a rollover crash on Wednesday, 25th April 2018

Three teens and a 7-year-old child were injured in a rollover crash Wednesday on Monroe Street at South Cove Boulevard in central Toledo, authorities said.

Destiny Jackson, 19, who was driving, and her passengers, Luesha Brown, 18, Heaven Mitchell, 16, and Nakia Mitchell, 7, all of Toledo, were taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital, according to Toledo police.

Ms. Jackson’s condition was undetermined, Ms. Brown was listed in critical condition, Ms. Mitchell was in good condition, and the Mitchell child was discharged from the hospital, a ProMedica spokesman said.

Ms. Jackson was driving southeast on Monroe at South Cove about 2:10 p.m. when for unknown reasons she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to go off the right side of the road and overturn, throwing two of the passengers out. The vehicle then hit a metal utility pole before coming to a stop.

It was unclear whether the vehicle’s occupants wore seat belts.

The crash remains under investigation.
