A man was killed in a stabbing in south Charlotte Monday morning.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they were called to an assault around 4:38 a.m. in the 2100 block of Archdale Drive, where they found a man, later identified as 42-year-old Brian Keith Moore, suffering from apparent stab wounds.
Moore was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
CMPD said Moore knew the person who stabbed him, and they are investigating the case as a homicide.
No possible motives have been released.
