Indianapolis, IN : Man hospitalized after Sunday morning crash on Sunday, 16th October 2016
Police are looking for two people who apparently left the scene of a Sunday morning car crash that left a Bloomington man hospitalized.
Emergency responders were dispatched to an accident at the intersection of North Lincoln and East 10th streets just before 1 a.m. Sunday.
According to a preliminary accident report, the driver of a Chrysler Sebring heading north on Lincoln Street is reported to have run a stop sign and struck a green Honda passenger car that was traveling on 10th Street. The impact of the crash pushed the Honda into two parked cars, according to the report.
The driver and a passenger in the Chrysler ran from the scene, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Brad Seifers said.
The driver of the Honda, 26-year-old Rodrigo Casas, was transported to Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital. A patient condition update was not immediately available from the hospital.
Detectives have been assigned to the case.
