Brookhaven ,NY : Motorist killed when car collides with Suffolk Transit bus on Long Island Monday evening ,July 20th 2015

Police say a 20-year-old man was killed when his car crashed into a county bus on Long Island.

Twenty-year-old Zachary Rauso was pronounced dead at the scene in Selden. It happened shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.

Leonard Secaira, a 52-year-old Suffolk Transit bus driver, and the one passenger on the bus were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

An investigation by Suffolk County detectives is continuing.
