State Police are investigating a fatal snowmobile accident the southern Adirondack Mountains

The fatal snowmobile crash reported in the region in the past two weeks. A 32-year-old man, also from central New York, lost control of his snowmobile and hit a tree in the Town of Inlet in the southern Adirondack Mountains, about 30 miles northeast of Turin. The victim also was pronounced dead at the scene.
