MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO : 4 children injured in single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, 5th March 2024

Four children between the ages of 8 and 15 were injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon, March 5 in Mississippi County.

The crash happened around 3:20 p.m. on Missouri 80, approximately 6 miles east of East Prairie.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Ashley M. Woods, of East Prairie, was driving eastbound when her pickup truck went off the right side of the road, hit a guardrail and flipped.

MSHP reported all four of Woods’ passengers, children ages 8, 13, 14 and 15, were injured in the crash.
