A bicyclist was killed in a motor vehicle crash on Long Island Wednesday morning, police say. The car struck the 22-year-old cyclist, who was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact Suffolk police. The bicyclist was riding southbound on Washington Avenue in Brentwood when he rode in front of a 2002 Ford Escape that was going eastbound on Express Drive South at about 7:45 a.m., Suffolk County police said. The 36-year-old driver stayed on the scene and was not hurt, police said.
