WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, OH : 1 dead, 2 injured in Brown County crash on Tuesday, 12th March 2019

One person is dead and two others are injured following a two-car crash in Brown County, officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Tuesday.

The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. on Tri-County Highway near New Hope White Oak Station Road in Washington Township.According to investigators, 21-year-old Galen Yoder was driving a Chevrolet Silverado northbound on New Hope White Oak Station Road when he failed to stop at the intersection with Tri-County Highway.

A Ford Focus driven by Virginia Frederick, 51, was driving east on Tri-County Highway, and struck the Silverado, investigators said.

The passenger in the Focus, Erica Alcorn, 36, of Mount Orab, was pronounced dead at the scene.
