North Platte,NE : NP woman killed in motorcycle crash on August, Sunday 27th 2017

A North Platte woman died after a motorcycle wreck near Curtis on Sunday.

Frontier County Sheriff Dan Rupp said Lori Paulsen, 52, of North Platte was riding a motorcycle alongside her husband and a group of friends on Nebraska Highway 23. The motorcycle left the road and went onto the shoulder, where she lost control. The bike flipped over into the ditch about one mile east of Curtis.

The Frontier County Ambulance Service and the Curtis Fire Department responded to the wreck about noon. Paulsen was taken to Great Plains Health, where she later died.

Rupp said Paulsen was wearing a helmet. Investigation of the wreck continues.
