Cambridge, MA : Bicyclist killed in accident involving a tractor-trailer in Cambridge on Wednesday, October 5, 2016

Police say a bicyclist has died after an accident involving a tractor-trailer in Cambridge.

Police spokesman Jeremy Warnick says the accident in Porter Square was reported just after 8 a.m. Wednesday and the driver of the truck remained at the scene.

The bicyclist was described as a man but no other information about him was disclosed.

Police tweeted that Massachusetts Avenue was closed in both directions during the investigation.
