Sanford, FL : 27-year-old Longwood man dead in one-vehicle crash in Seminole County on Friday, January 27, 2017
A 27-year-old Longwood man died Friday after striking a utility pole in a late night crash in Seminole County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Bradley Vincent Denslow was headed south on Markham Woods Road near Lake Mary Boulevard at about 11:45 p.m. when the accident happened, FHP spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Montes said.
As Denslow tried to make his way along a curve in the road, he lost control of his 2007 Mini Cooper, Montes said. He ran off the road and onto the grass shoulder of the road before striking a wooden utility pole.
Denslow’s car flipped, ultimately landing on its side in the southbound lane of Markham Woods Road, Montes said. Denslow was thrown from the car and died at the scene.
No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation, Montes said.
