Grand Traverse County, MI : Florida woman killed in Northern Michigan crash on Tuesday morning, November 18, 2014

A Brimley man is waiting arraignment after a deadly car accident in Grand Traverse County early Tuesday morning. Authorities say the man crossed the center line on US 31 striking a car carrying four people. One passenger, a 71 year-old women from Florida, died at the scene. She was in Michigan for a family member's funeral. Police are not releasing the names of those involved. Alcohol was not considered a factor, though the roads were reportedly icy.
