PHOENIX, AZ : 2 officers, woman hospitalized after separate crashes in Phoenix on Wednesday, 13th March 2024

Two separate crashes in the same area sent a woman and two Phoenix police officers to the hospital on Wednesday morning.

According to Phoenix police, a woman was struck by a car near 43rd and Peoria avenues around 9:45 a.m. Phoenix firefighters rushed the woman to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

As police were attempting to direct traffic, a second driver struck their patrol SUV. Two officers were taken to the hospital but are expected to be OK.
