Auburn, MA :Man ejected from car in Mass Pike crash on Saturday, July 11th 2015
A Whitinsville man was ejected from his car after it was struck by another eastbound car early Saturday morning.The Massachusetts State Police told the Worcester Telegram & Gazette that the 50-year-old man was ejected out the back window of his Nissan Altima after it was struck just before 2 a.m. The Altima was then again struck by a third car.The 50-year-old injured man told police that his car was struck from behind by a Maryland registered car. The driver of that vehicle said the Altima was stopped in the left lane of the highway when he came upon it.The first collision sent the Altima into a guard rail and the impact of that collision forced the man out the rear window of the car. He was not wearing a seat belt, police said.A New Jersey registered can then struck the Altima as it sat on the side of the road.The injured man was taken to the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester for treatment of head lacerations and broken ribs.The incident remains under investigation.
