Fremont, OH : Fatal crash leaves one woman dead, two injured on CR65 West of CR90, Washington Township in Sandusky County on Sunday June 29, 2014

The Ohio State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The accident happened on CR65 West of CR90, Washington Township in Sandusky County.

Authorities say a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu was being driven by 27-year-old Deshaun Cash, from Fremont. Two other female passengers were in the vehicle, 33-year-old Latoya Minniefield and 24-year-old Brittany Minniefield.

State Patrol says Cash lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree. All three occupants were ejected from the vehicle.

Latoya Minniefield was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other occupants were transported to St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo.Their condition is not known at this time.

State Patrol says speed and alcohol appear to be a factor in the crash and seatbelts were not in use.

The crash remains under investigation.
