WAIPAHU, HI : 15-year-old injured after e-bike accident in Waipahu on Saturday, 14th September 2024

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to an e-bike crash that involved another vehicle, on Paiwa St. in Waipahu.

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., EMS reported that a 15-year-old boy was riding an e-bike when he hit the back of a vehicle.

As a result of the collision, the boy suffered from an injury to the head when he hit the back of the windshield of an SUV.

Officials reported that the 15-year-old was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
