Motorcyclist killed in collision with car

A motorcyclist has died after his Yamaha bike was in collision with a red Vauxhall Corsa in Climping yesterday afternoon.The collision happened in Crookthorn Lane, at the junction with Yapton Road.Ambulance paramedics were unable to save the 48-year-old man from Bognor Regis who died at the scene.The collision happened just before 2pm in Crookthorn Lane, at the junction with Yapton Road. Paramedics were unable to save the 48-year-old man from Bognor Regis who sadly died at the scene.The road was closed for just over five hours while rescue, recovery and investigation work took place.The driver of the Corsa, a 53-year-old woman from Bognor Regis, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. She was later bailed.
