Sylmar, CA : Truck transition road closed on 5 Freeway in Sylmar after big rig crash on Wednesday, November 19, 2014

A multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig prompted closure today of the truck transition road from the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway in the Sylmar area, and left two people injured, authorities said. The crash occurred north of the Foothill (210) Freeway about 7:50 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported. Paramedics transported two people for hospital treatment in unknown condition, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
