Kingman, IN : Man injured in Fountain County ATV crash on Thursday, March 16, 2017

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a personal injury ATV crash that occurred at approximately 8 p.m. Thursday in the 4000 block of South Kingman Road.

Nathan Crose, 27, was operating a Polaris Sportsman 400 four-wheeler on his property when he began to ride on a sloped portion of the drive way. Crose was operating at approximately 10 mph when the ATV tossed him from the vehicle. ..

Crose sustained a broken ankle and dislocated ankle from the incident. He was transported via Statflight to St Vincent hospital to be treated for his injuries. He is believed to be in stable condition at this time.

Indiana Conservation Officers strongly recommend wearing a helmet and other safety gear when operating ATV’s.

Assisting agencies include: Fountain County Medic 2, Fountain County Medic 3, Kingman Fire, Fountain County Sheriff Department, Veedersburg Police Department, Statflight 4 and Fountain County 911 Dispatch.
