Oklahoma City, OK : Semi crashed and then slammed into the pillar on the I-40EB and I-44NB ramp on Tuesday morning, November 4, 2014

An accident in Oklahoma City forced a busy ramp to close for several hours. I-40 Eastbound to I-44 Northbound ramp is closed and won’t open until an engineer can evaluate the damage. Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a semi crashed on I-40WB and I-44SB around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday and then slammed into the pillar on the I-40EB and I-44NB ramp. The accident scene has been cleared and there are no major injuries. The I-40 EB to I-44 NB ramp will be closed until about noon. Drivers are encouraged to use I-235 or I-35.
