Dinwiddie, VA : Woman, 45, killed, three people injured in Rt. 460 crash in Dinwiddie County on Friday, February 10, 2017

A Church Road woman died Friday in a two-vehicle crash in Dinwiddie County. Virginia State Police said the crash occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Route 460 westbound at Route 627 (Courthouse Road).

A 2010 Dodge Caliber was traveling north on Route 627 when it pulled into the path of 2004 Nissan Armada traveling west on Route 460, causing the Nissan to overturn and ejecting the driver of the Dodge, Kimberly D. Cook, 45, of Church Road. She died at the scene. A 15-year-old female passenger was flown to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The two people in the Nissan were taken to Southside Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
