The Greenville County Coroner's Office has been called to a fatal motorcycle wreck Sunday afternoon.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the single-vehicle wreck occurred on Locust Hill Road at Mush Creek Road around 12:20 p.m.
Lance Cpl. David Jones said a driver was operating a 2002 Harley Davidson Motorcycle when he ran off the left side of the road, striking a mailbox and traveling down an embankment.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Benny Leroy Holden, Jr., 53, of Travelers Rest. Holden was wearing a helmet, the coroner said.
Holden's cause of death remains under investigation.
