Oklahoma City,OK : 12-year-old boy hit by car in northwest Oklahoma City on September, Thursday 28th 2017

A 12-year-old boy was hit by a car Thursday afternoon near 122nd Street and Rockwell in Oklahoma City.

Authorities said the child appears to have suffered a broken arm and leg, but is expected to be OK.

Authorities said the driver initially took off, but returned to the scene. The driver is detained, but authorities said it appeared that the child ran out in front of the car.
