Roane County, TN : 1-40 E blocked in Roane County from crash on June 8, 2014

An overturned tractor trailer on Interstate 40 in Roane County has shutdown the eastbound lanes around mile marker 342.

Tennessee Highway Patrol says there are injuries, but there is no word on how severe.

THP says the accident involved two tractor trailers.

Eastbound traffic is blocked.

TDOT reports westbound traffic is not affected, and the accident should be clear by 9:00 a.m.
