A multi-vehicle crash closed an eastbound lane of Interstate 24 in Davidson County Thursday morning.

The crash was reported at 7:10 a.m. at mile marker 44, just south of Briley Parkway over Ewing Drive.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately known.

One eastbound lane was closed to traffic until 7:40 a.m.

Westbound traffic was not affected.
