New Sharon ,ME : Kenneth Jamison, 48, killed after motorcycle crash along Route 327 on Sunday , August 2nd 2015

In New Sharon, Jonathan Billings, 24, of Windham was killed in what appeared to be a one-vehicle, one-person motorcycle crash on Route 27 on Sunday, about two miles south of the Farmington line.

According to a written statement from Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, Billings' speeding motorcycle went off Route 27 and ended up in a field. He was killing after hitting a fence post.

Billings was not wearing a helmet.
