PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA : 67-year-old moped operator killed after being rear-ended by car in Woodbridge on Sunday, 20th August 2023
A moped operator is dead after being rear-ended by another vehicle in Woodbridge early Sunday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD).
At 1:45 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of Neabsco Mills Road and Smoke Court to investigate a crash. Authorities said the operator of a 2018 Yamaha FX 5 Moped, identified as Junaid Qureshi, 67, of Woodbridge, was traveling southbound on Neabsco Mills Road. Qureshi was approaching the stop bar at the intersection of Smoke Court when he was rear-ended by a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, police said.
