WINCHESTER, CT : 2 dead, 3 hurt in late night car crash on Monday, 26th November 2018

Police say two people died and three others were injured in a late night car crash in Connecticut.

Police say all five people in the car that crashed into a tree off Route 8 in Winchester at about 11:30 p.m. Monday were from Winsted.

The driver, a 19-year-old woman, and the front-seat passenger, a 26-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene

A juvenile female was thrown from the rear seat of the car and was seriously injured. An 18-year-old man was also seriously injured, while a 22-year-old man suffered minor injuries.

No names were released.
