LEXINGTON, KY : AAA gives safety tips after pedestrian killed on I-64 on Wednesday, 1st May 2024

A pedestrian was killed late night when they were hit on I-64 in Lexington.

Police couldn’t tell us why the person was walking on the interstate, but our crews at the scene saw an RV stopped near the area they were investigating.

According to the most recent report from the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety, there have been 31 pedestrian fatalities in just five months.
