Boone County, MO :Warsaw man killed in overnight crash on Sunday, July 5th 2015

A man from Warsaw died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Boone County, Missouri. The wreck occurred just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday on I-70 at the 118 mile marker. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 71-year-old Larry Noland was experiencing a mechanical issue and was traveling on the interstate at a slow rate of speed. Troopers say that a 2015 Hino box truck then struck the vehicle from behind. Noland was taken to a Columbia hospital, where he later died. His passenger was treated for minor injuries. The driver of the box truck suffered moderate injuries.
