Spartanburg, SC : One person injured in Wrong-way crash on I-85 southbound in Spartanburg County on Wednesday night, Sep 9, 2015

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a wrong-way driver caused a collision with injuries on I-85 southbound in Spartanburg County at mile marker 77, near the Chesnee Highway Exit.

Lance Cpl. Bill Rhyne with the SCHP said it was called in late Wednesday night as a wrong-way driver, and traffic moved slowly in the area.

Rhyne said no fatalities were reported.

Spartanburg County dispatchers said Hilltop, Whitney and Cherokee Springs fire departments responded to the scene.

The wreck was cleaned up, and traffic was moving smoothly by 3 a.m. Thursday.
