One person died after a Monday morning crash involving three vehicles at West Midway and Shinn roads, officials said.
St. Lucie County Fire District Crews were called at 7:53 a.m. to the incident, which involved two trucks and a car, said Brenda Stokes, Fire District spokeswoman.
Stokes said a woman was flown to a local trauma center, and a man was taken by ambulance to a local trauma center. Two other men also were taken to a hospital.Sgt. Mark Wysocky, Florida Highway Patrol spokesman, said one person in the crash died after being taken to the hospital.
Wysocky said the remaining three people sustained non-life threatening injuries. All were taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce.
