Fillmore County, MN : 16-year-old girl killed after Head-On Crash in Highway 52 near Chatfield on Thursday January 28 2016

A 16-year-old girl was killed Thursday in a head-on crash in southeastern Minnesota, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash happened about 8:49 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 52 near Chatfield and Fountain in Fillmore County.
A pickup going north, driven by 55-year-old Cindy Mueske of Ashland, Illinois, crossed the center line and crashed into a car that Kaitlyn Hansen of Canton was driving. Hanson, who was wearing her seatbelt, was killed.
Mueske was not wearing a seatbelt. She was tossed when her pickup rolled in the west ditch. She was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. She is expected to survive, the state patrol said. The state patrol said alcohol was detected on Mueske.
