Oklahoma City, OK : Fatality crash reported on I-40 in west Oklahoma City on Monday 29th October 2018

One person was killed after a loose wheel assembly caused several chain-reaction crashes early Monday morning on Interstate 40 in west Oklahoma City.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, emergency crews responded just before 5 a.m. to the report of multiple collisions on I-40 eastbound near the Meridian exit.Authorities said a wheel assembly flew off a semi-truck, hitting a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene.
