A driver from Menasha suffered serious injuries early Thursday in a three-vehicle crash involving two semitrailer trucks, according to the Marinette County Sheriff's Department.
The 26-year-old man is under investigation on suspicion of operating while intoxicated after his car crossed the center line and hit a southbound semi at U.S. Highway 141 in the Town of Amberg.
After the impact, the truck driven by a 48-year-old Iron Mountain, Mich., resident fell onto its side and blocked the roadway, causing another semi to drive into the overturned truck, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Department.
According to the release, both truck drivers were treated for minor injuries.
