Harrison Township , MI : One Person was killed when the driver of the car he was in lost control and crashed at westbound I-94 on Friday night , FebruY 6th 2015

Macomb County police say Eddie Griffin III, from Warren, was killed Friday night when the driver of the car he was in lost control and crashed on westbound I-94.

Witnesses told police that the car passed them at a high speed at around 11:20 when the driver lost control and the car rolled over multiple times. It came to rest in the lanes on WB I-94 near Shook Road.

Police say Griffin, the only passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 27-year-old man from Clinton Township, was taken to McLaren hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say alcohol appears to be a factor in the accident.
