Greene County, IL : Illinois man dies in crash in Highway 267 Saturday night September 26 2015.

A Rockbridge, Ill., man died Saturday night in traffic crash on Highway 267 south of Roth Road, about 25 miles north of Alton.According to Illinois State Police, Darren Winn, 44, was driving his car north when he drove into the wrong lane and headed toward oncoming traffic at around 8:40 p.m. Winn sideswiped a truck that had swerved to avoid him. Then, his 2004 Chevrolet hit an SUV head-on.
Winn was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from his car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other vehicles were driven by a man and a woman, both from Brighton. They were not injured.
Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash.
