PORTSMOUTH, RI : Five teens sent to hospital after car crashes into wall in Portsmouth on Saturday, 18th August 2018

Five high school students were injured Saturday night when the vehicle they were traveling in ran off of Middle Road and crashed into a stone wall, according to Fire Department officials.

Fire Capt. Howard Tighe said the vehicle was driven by a 17-year-old girl and the passengers were all age 17 or younger. The call came in to the Fire Department at 9:09 p.m. and all five students were taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence.
