Miami, FL : Pembroke Pines Officer injured in a multi-car crash n Pines Boulevard and Douglas Road on Monday morning, May 4, 2015

A Pembroke Pines police officer is recovering in the hospital after being involved in a multi-car crash, early Monday morning.

The crash happened on Pines Boulevard and Douglas Road. Investigators said three vehicles were involved, with one person trapped.

The officer was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, where his condition is unknown.
