The Spartanburg County coroner and troopers with the SC Highway Patrol are investigating a crash that killed a Spartanburg man Monday night.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger said the crash happened on South Blackstock Road at Reidville Road.
61-year-old Royce Edward Steele of Hanover Place was pronounced dead at 6:39 p.m. as a result of injuries he received in the crash, Clevenger said
The crash remains under investigation.
