Milwaukee,WI : Two children killed in fire on Milwaukee's far north side on September, Sunday 24th 2017

Two people are dead and a third person is hurt after a fire on Milwaukee's far north side.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office tells WISN 12 News the two deceased are children.

The call came in before 5 a.m. on Sunday, September 24th. Crews arrived to the condo at Swan Road and Allyn Street engulfed in flames. They needed to use water cannons to get the smoke and fire under control before attempting rescues.

The surviving victim was taken to a local hospital.
