SPLENDORA, TX : 16-year-old crashes into home at high speed in Splendora on Sunday, 6th November 2016

A 16-year-old boy crashed into a home Sunday evening at a high rate of speed when his car hydroplaned in Splendora, Texas.

The Department of Public Safety said the teen was traveling at high speed in a pickup truck when he hit his breaks, hydroplaned and slammed into a home.

Officials said Susie Little and her son were inside the home during the crash.

Little said she was in her bed when the truck hit the home. She thought a tree had fallen on the house, she said.

Officials said there were no injuries.
