The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two people have died in separate auto crashes on state roads.
The OHP says 23-year-old Layne Michael Meriwether of Stillwater was killed Sunday and 28-year-old Ashlee Ward of Pryor died Saturday.
A police report Meriwether was eastbound on Highway 51 near Stillwater when the pickup truck he was driving went off the road in foggy conditions early Sunday and rolled into a tree.
A report says Ward was westbound when her car went off a Mayes County road near Pryor and rolled. The report says Ward was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out the rear window of the car as it rolled.
The report says the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of Ward’s crash.
