BLAND COUNTY, VA : Bland County East River Tunnel crash sends two to hospital on Saturday, 24th June 2023

The Rocky Gap Volunteer Fire Department (RGFR) says two people have been taken to the hospital after a car crash in Rocky Gap on Saturday morning.

At 6:26 a.m. on June 24, several crews including the Bland County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to the inside of the East River Tunnel. On the scene, firefighters found a car with heavy damage to the front.
