GORE, VA : State Police investigate possible hit-and-run crash on Saturday, October, 28th 2017

A Saturday car crash that injured a family and possibly involved another driver leaving the scene is under investigation by Virginia State Police.

The crash happened about 3:05 p.m. Saturday on Northwestern Pike (U.S. 50) in western Frederick County near Va. 259, state police spokesman Sgt. F.L. “Les” Tyler said Monday. It involved a westbound, four-door 2014 Kia Optima that was in the right lane of the two-lane road and another vehicle for which Tyler didn’t have a description.
