A woman who was walking along a sidewalk was struck and killed Thursday by her son-in-law's truck as he backed out of a driveway at a home on Rich Moor Circle, officials said. Troopers said 65-year-old Randi Wheeler was behind 64-year-old Steven Proctor's Ford truck in a position where she could not be seen when he hit her with the rear side of the vehicle. Wheeler was pronounced dead at the scene.
