Whately,MA : 6 cars involved in crash on I-91 in Whately on August, Thursday 31th 2017

A multi-car crash on I-91 northbound in Whately caused delays on the highway Thursday afternoon.

State Police Sergeant John Riley told 22News that a total of six vehicles were involved in the crash near the Hatfield-Whately town line. The highway’s travel lanes were closed, but traffic was able to get by through the breakdown lane until everything was cleaned up.

Traffic is now moving freely through the area.

Riley said that all of the people who were involved in the crash declined medical treatment.
