Greenup, IL : Terre Haute man killed after a crash on IL 130 near Greenup on Wednesday, February 24, 2016

A Terre Haute man is dead after a crash near Greenup, Illinois.

It happened just before noon on Wednesday on IL 130.

Police say 57-year-old Jeffery Shin, from Terre Haute, was driving south on IL 130 when he tried to pass another car.

That is when he lost control of his car and hit a semi being driven by 57-year-old Neil Page, from San Francisco.

Shin was pronounced dead at the scene.
