Louisiana, MO : Frankford woman injured in two-vehicle crash in Pike County on Friday, November 11, 2016

A Frankford woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:05 p.m. Friday on County Road 118, east of Mo. 79, in Pike County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 1989 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck driven by Curtis J. Huff, 22, of Louisiana, was heading west while a 2006 Chrysler 300 car driven by Elizabeth L. Fitzsimons, 18, was heading east when the car crossed the center line and entered the westbound lane. Police say Huff slowed his truck to a stop while Fitzsimons attempted to stop, but her car struck the front of the truck.

Fitzsimons was taken by Pike County EMS ambulance to Pike County Memorial Hospital.
